Hydrogen fuel cells generate electricity efficiently by mixing oxygen with compressed hydrogen and only emit pure, clean water. The air purifier filters remove 99.9% of micro-particulates, removing carbon emissions from the air while driving.

The Nexo is a bold step towards a better future. We've designed the exterior to reflect this, making it as streamlined and sublimely futuristic as possible. Its cascading grille and horizon LED positioning lamps propel it forward, while innovative detailing such as auto-retractable door handles give it a seamless look that complements its sleek, future-forward style.
Rear combination lights.
The triangular design of the rear LED combination lights gives the Nexo a strong stance. Combining the brake lights, tail lights and indicators, this sleek design enhances visibility and heightens the horizon aesthetics.
D-pillar air tunnel.
Aerodynamic efficiency is optimised by engineering a drag-reducing path through the rear D-pillar vertical support.
Hidden rear wiper.
The Nexo's sleek minimalism extends to the rear window, where the wiper only makes its presence known when it’s called upon.
Extra-wide sunroof.
Fill the cabin with air and light, in whatever proportions you're in the mood for, at the touch of a button. A wind deflector will also activate to filter and minimise any unwelcome noise.

Remote parking.
The Nexo can autonomously park or retrieve itself from a parking space with or without a driver in the car. It can even back itself into a parking spot with just the touch of a button. When faced with any challenging parking situation, the Nexo drivers will be able to park with complete confidence and accuracy.
Electronic parking brake (EPB).
Say goodbye to clunky handbrakes, enjoy a seamless interior where you can apply the handbrake at the touch of a button.
12.3" multimedia screen.
The 12.3' centre screen provides more than just phone connectivity and clear navigation. Easily view stats on the NEXO's energy flow, remaining range and switch between driving modes to keep in the know of its performance.

Wirelessly charge your smartphone on the charging pad[P3], making charging your phone a worry of the past while you're out and about.
Paddle shift.
Capture kinetic energy when braking with regenerative braking. Use the paddle shifter to determine the level of regenerative braking to top up the electric motor and extend your driving range.
Front ventilated & heated seats.
Embedded heating elements gently warm the front surfaces during cold weather. In hotter conditions, ventilation fans circulate a welcome stream of cooling air through the perforations in the seats.
A class leader in safety.
Interconnected safety technologies built into the Nexo are designed to make you aware of everything going on around you – especially the hazards you haven’t yet seen – and provide steering assist, Hyundai SmartSenseTM[H1] is a demonstration of enduring safety that will extend far beyond today.
Blind-spot View Monitor (BVM).
Hyundai’s Blind-spot View Monitor is an industry-first technology which utilises wide-angle rear-view cameras to show vehicles that are travelling in your blind spot. When the indicator is activated, the camera feed is shown on the center dashboard screen to show any potential hazards which would have been missed in a traditional rear-view mirror. Hyundai is the first automaker to provide drivers video footage from both sides of the vehicle.
Remote Smart Parking Assist (RSPA).
RSPA enables the Nexo to autonomously park or retrieve itself from a parking space with or without a driver in the car. The RSPA system can even back the Nexo into a parking spot by itself with a touch of a button from the driver. When faced with any challenging parking situation, the Nexo drivers will be able to park with complete confidence and accuracy.
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist.
The front-view camera and front radar work together to warn you of imminent collisions with other vehicles or objects and will apply emergency braking to prevent a collision.
Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go.
This system will maintain a pre-set speed and distance from the vehicle ahead without requiring you to use your accelerator or brake pedals.
Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist.
Reversing out of carparks just became easier. When in reverse, the rear sensors are activated to monitor approaching traffic existing parking spots. When a vehicle approaches a blind-spot, an audible warning will sound along with a visual in the dash cluster.
Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist.
Radar sensors in the rear bumper warn you of approaching vehicles in the blind spot area, and will activate your brakes when there is a collision risk in changing lanes.
